Planning an Unattended Service
Basic Fee for Scattering Of Ashes $125.00 (Unattended). A Coast Guard Licensed Captain will conduct the scattering at sea in a dignified and respectful manner. Unless another location is requested, the scattering service is performed on the beautiful Pacific Ocean along the Santa Barbara Coastline. This service is helpful and convenient for families and friends, who live out of the area or get sea sick, yet want to honor their loved ones wishes to be scattered at sea. A video of the memorial scattering is available.

Planning an Attended Service
Call our Santa Barbara Office 1-805-962-8222 or e-mail us for a quote for an attended service. The service would be held aboard a beautiful Morgan Ketch Yacht and performed with Majestic Mountains looming upon the Pacific in view of the beautiful Santa Barbara Harbor and California Coastline. People take great comfort in ceremony. We can help you plan a custom or traditional ceremony and will work with you to design a fitting tribute for your loved one. Please let us know the number of people you plan to have attend, the planned date and time for the service and if any clergy is requested.

Flowers
Flowers represent love and beauty and are often used in a memorial service. A scattering of rose petals, decorative bouquet, and three different sizes or wreaths are available.

Videotaping
A personalized video with your loved one's name, date of birth/death. The video begins with the boat departure leaving the dock and going out to sea. This service is provided by Sunset Kidd in a beautiful Morgan Ketch yacht. We will videotape the scattering of the ashes and memorial service that has been requested. Music requests can be included. For unattended services, we will be happy to recite a prayer or read a Eulogy during the memorial service. A copy of our log is also available on video .

Memorial Certificates
You will receive a personalized certificate suitable for framing which will include the date, time, longitude and latitude of the scattering or burial at sea. Additional certificates can be purchased for $6.00 each which needs to be printed at the same time and mailed to one address.

If mailed to a different address the certificate is $10.00. Additional certificates ordered at a later date are $12.00.
